Herringbone Prime Grade

This classic Prime French Oak herringbone floor has been made from 9mm overlays, and finished with a natural wax oil. Once a floor is oiled, it will never need sanding, and in time will age like a good wine.

The colour of golden honey, this wood is chosen for its beauty, soft grain and cats paw knots. Planted in the days of Napoleon to provide the timber for his fleet, today French oak is most at home on dry land, used in the making of wine barrels and high quality parquet / wood floors.

Also available in quarter sawn

Finishes: lacquer, wax oil, wax, or aged and distressed

Thickness: 20mm solid, or 9mm overlays.
